Following a tennis injury which resulted in two chipped front teeth, Amy Scott who works in PR, decided cosmetic dentistry was not an option but a necessity.
She told the Sunday Mirror that her regular dentist may not have been able to match the repair work to her natural teeth and so she decided to see a cosmetic dentist. She was offered a treatment of ten veneers which would not only cover her chipped teeth but also whiten the rest to ensure a natural result.
Following the treatment, Miss Scott said: "I felt like a celebrity. I couldn't stop smiling all night."
The British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry recently reported that the popularity of veneers have increased by nearly 144 per cent following the trend of television makeover shows.
