GlamSmile is described as a "revolutionary" and time-effective system, using computer aided design and manufacturing technology alongside high-tech scanning and a proprietary fabrication technique.
An demonstration of the system was completed "flawlessly", according to cosmetic dentist Jonathan Ziv who explained the procedures during the seminar.
Dr Ziv also quoted another dentist as saying: "I witnessed in just a few hours 90 veneers being placed … they all went in pop, pop, pop … and they all fit perfectly."
According to Remedent, the new system reduces the cost and time a patient needs to spend on having veneers placed.
Chief executive officer of Remedent Robin List claimed the success of the first GlamSmile seminar on Tuesday is a "positive sign for the future" of the system.
Veneers are the fourth most popular form of dental enhancement in the UK, according to the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, with 18 per cent of the population having already undergone treatment.
